Candidate Forum: Bar Harbor Town Council

Candidate forums are a great way to meet your local candidates, hear what they have to say on the issues, and ask questions!

The League of Women Voters - Downeast, together with the Mount Desert Islander and the Bar Harbor Story, is hosting a candidate forum for Bar Harbor Town Council. This event will feature all eight candidates. The forum will be  moderated by Ann Luther.

The event will be a hybrid event, held at the Jesup Library and via Zoom webinar from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A video recording of the session will be availabe after the event.

Residents are urged to attend the webinar and learn how the candidates will deal with the important issues facing Bar Harbor.

Eight candidates are vying for four seats on the Town Council. To see what else is on the local ballot, visit the website for the Town of Bar Harbor. The election will be held on June 10, 2025.
